The law firm was founded by lawyers Marco Scicolone and Miriam Fallanca in 2001 and today has its main office in the centre of Milan, in Via Durini 14. Their passion for their work and the trust gained from an ever-growing clientele led to the opening of a second office in Rome in 2010, in Via delle Milizie 2. Another field of activity in which the law firm's specialization is expressed is that of the restructuring of medium and large-sized companies, both through access to the instruments of the restructuring agreements. 182bis Bankruptcy Law and the so-called "Certified plans" referred to in letter d) of the third paragraph of art. 67 Bankruptcy Law, both through the implementation and complete assistance for access to extraordinary administration procedures, even for "very large" companies referred to in Legislative Decree n. 347/2003 (so-called “Marzano Law”), of arrangement with creditors, as well as of arrangement with creditors. In the complex of restructuring and rehabilitation activities there is also the assistance provided by the Law Firm for the use of tax settlement tools pursuant to art. 182ter Bankruptcy Law and for access to pre-deductible and urgent financing. In this context, there is also the specialization in credit securitization transactions, diclaims and litigation reserves, as well as in the UTP and NPL sector, collaborating with some of the main international players present on the Italian market including clients of the Firm. The Law Firm is active in research and the lawyer Marco Scicolone has been a speaker at conferences on the subject of corporate restructuring and insolvency law, also with reference to the forthcoming entry into force of the Corporate Crisis and Insolvency Code introduced with DL n. 14/2019. A further and connected area of activity is that of supporting performing operators interested in acquisitions of target companies that are in a state of crisis.
